I tend to use the copy formatted feature or drag and drop between my libraries and Word (on a PC), but regardless of the paste option in word I select, it capitalizes every word in each record. Is this an EN problem or a Word problem, and how can I fix it? I am new EN X4 but I never had this problem with any previous version.
The copy formated output will be dictated by the style selected in the Endnote program. Try changing that to a different output style in keeping with the desired formating, before ctrl+K, paste. That is also the “style” the Preview screen will be shown in, from where you can also drag and drop or copy paste.
