copy the last inserted reference

How copy to a new reference the previous one.

I’m a user of ProCite and there is very useful combination SHIFT+F5.

Is something like that in EndNote ?

Well, I have to close window with a new reference, choose and copy record, and edit it, I though there is a simpler way

Are you trying to create a duplicate record?  If so (based on X4 and Windows Vista), in the library window just select/highlight the reference you want to duplicate, then do one of the following:

  1. Hold the CTRL C, then  CTRL V keys (copy and paste); or

  2. Right click your mouse to display the submenu, select COPY.  Right click the mouse again to display the submenu then select PASTE.
