Because it is frequently convenient to duplicate a record (say of an edited volume chapter or journal article) in order to enter another reference from the same volume, it would be very convenient to have a “duplicate this record” command in the “references” drop-down and on the top icon toolbar. At present, we must copy-and-paste every time we want to make a duplicate record.
Besides the menu name and an icon, how exactly would you want/expect a “Duplicate this record” command to differ from the existing “Copy” functionality?

It’s a minor request, but “copy” then requires “paste.” A “duplicate this record” command, especially on the upper horizontal icon bar, would be much faster.
I find Ctrl C, Ctrl V pretty easy. Easier than picking up the mouse.
The copy-paste does not work in Endnote X5 (Macintosh). It used to work on prev versions.
Is there another way? I use a lot of government documents and it dramatically saves time not to enter the office, location, etc. each time.
