Now that I keep my pdf’s in Endnote, it commony happens that I want to copy several pdfs of papers and past them into an email. I can’t figure out an easy way to do this in Endnote. You can select the pdf, but Copy does not seem to work. If you open th pdf in the pdf viewer you have an option to send it as an attachment in email, but if you do that you end up with one email per pdf, which is not useful. In theory you could go to the data folder associated with the library and copy the pdf there, but with the pdf’s attached to endnote references, which are easy to identify, I stopped naming pdfs in easy to identify ways and they would be hard to find.
All in all, this seems like the simplest thing a database should allow you to do. Take something that is attached to the reference, copy it, and paste it somewhere else. It must be possible in Endnote, but I have not been able to identify a procedure in Endnote help or past posts here.
What am I missing?
