Data exchange format specification

Hello.

Quick question: Is the format specification for EndNote’s data exchange format available online somewhere? My search hasn’t been very successful so far. I don’t own the software but I’d like to export data in EndNote’s format for a project I’m working on.

You can download the EndNote manual from the EndNote website.

If you go to the “Importing Reference Data into EndNote” chapter, there is a section “Creating a Tagged EndNote Import File”. This sets out all the tags used in the EndNote format.
