It would be great to be able to drag and drop a folder full of PDF documents to add them to add them to the library. I know I can go to file, import, but drag and drop would be quicker for me.
Also, currently when I import a reference from a PDF it attaches the PDF from it’s current location. When this happens I can’t seem to open the PDF from the reference because it tells me it can’t find it. I have to delete the PDF from the new reference and attach it again.
So my second suggestion is that when importing references from PDFs, the PDF should be copied to the endnote data folder just like it is if I drag a PDF onto an existing reference.
I apologise if these features are already in X5, my workplace is currently stuck on X4.
