EndNote 20: How to copy Endnote based citation from Word file to another and having its reference copied as well?
I observed that if the Endnote based citation is copied from Word file to another then its reference is not copied as per the screenshot below.
What is the best practice to perform this?
Have you run the “update citations and bibliography”? The safest way to do this, is to convert to unformated endnote temporary citations, do the copy and paste and then update the citations and bibliography with the appropriate endnote library open.
