Endnote 21.2 inconsistent output style

Hi,

I use the numbered output style, which upon a certain point worked as it should.
Now however, when I add another citation, it formats the in-text citation like this: {Baker, 2011 #35}
Also the citation does not get linked to the document. I did not change anything in the output style and this issue also happens for other output styles.

Can you help me with this?

That is a “temporary citation” and it appears the the “instant formatting” is off (an option on the endnote toolbar in word. You can turn it on, or regularly hit the “update citations and bibliography” manually on that toolbar.
