I was using Endnote to write a thesis and the program crashed. When I booted it up all of the references I had unsaved (about 15) had been deleted. How can these be recovered? I still have the .data folder and the .enl folder but it is not showing that I modified these folders since the last time I saved. I still have all my references in word but it will not let me export my traveling library back to endnote because it says the field codes have been removed. How can I get back my lost references and asap???
if you used them in the thesis, you should first make sure “discard duplicates” box is selected in the preferences and then use the tools in word on the endnote ribbont “export to endnote” the travelling library to your library or to a new temporary library and then import it into your main library with “discard duplicates” on.
