EndNote follow document style

Dear Common Wisdom:

How can I have EndNote follow the citation or bibliography styles (fonts, paragraph, etc) which already exist in my Word document?

Thanks!

In a new document, format three extra paragraphs at the end the way you want them and make sure that the style layout and format bibliography settings are not specified, which MAY override the document formating.  Also make sure the references themselves don’t have overriding font information.

When you move the bibliography you should also take the surrounding paragraph marks too.

One place you might not notice is a drop down in the Bibliography layout of the output style having to do with hanging indents.

Leanne,

Thank you for your response. May I ask you what exactly you mean by “make sure that the style layout and format bibliography settings are not specified”?

And how would references have overriding font information, in EndNote?

Thanks!
