with Surface 3 they will allow add-ons, plug-ins. then we will work on plug in for office rt.

This doesnât mean the feature will not be available in the future.
Furthermore, just a simple app for integrating the library from either endnote web, skydrive (online with the cloud), local and/or usb/microSD would go to great lengths to help people with citation organization.
Finally, the generation of a reference list could be easily implememented one-sidedly into the endnote app for simple copy pasting into word/any text processing app.
I would certainly pay for such an app and taking into account that most of the people who buy the surface are production-oriented (which is drifting away from the ipad users) and that this population nicely overlaps with endnote users, the porting of EndNote to windows RT would make sense. And Iâm pretty sure its an easy task for the Reuters team.
Yes, SkyDrive / OneDrive (new name) app integration is amazing. Â It would not only help with syncing but would be great if the PDFs could also be stored in the Microsoft OneDrive account in an EndNote folder in the cloud on OneDrive.
I really hope there is enough demand on Windows 8 devices in the MODERN application interface and for the Windows RT users that EndNote will change their mind soon and start developing for windows RT.
If you are interested in using EndNote in the Modern Windows 8 interface to view citation library and view your syncâd PDFs, please let EndNote know about your interest.
Their default answer is to buy an intel based device and use it in desktop mode.
Well, desktop mode is not touch friendly, not tablet friendly. Â With all the hybrid devices, it would be much nicer to operate many things in touch friendly mode on windows 8.
Maybe Microsoft / Microsoft fanboys with more money than me / should donate a Surface 2 with ARM to each endnote developer and technician so they can see how amazing and how powerful for content creation and consumption these devices are. Â I now reach for my Surface 2 tablet over my other touch screen devices, idevices, laptop, or desktop. Â
Itâs light enough to bring everywhere on campus. Â Just wish there was some endnote application that worked on the windows RT device. Â
If you are a Surface 2 or Surface RT fan or have a device that runs Windows RT or if you enjoy using the Modern / Metro interface of Winows 8 AND you desire an Ipad-like EndNote applciation, please post here to show support and help change the EndNote developersâ mind no this issue.
Reuters is extremely slow. It took them YEARS to even start with EndNote for iPad. To give you an idea of how long⌠I asked for EndNote for iPad when I bought my iPad 1 and it came out⌠when I changed to the Surface RT.
maybe they will want to make a windows rt app after seeing the cool surface mini running windows rt!!
i use the surface 2 (windows rt) about 100x more than i use my android phone (excluding phone calls) and i never pick up idevices anymore. i hope a PDF viewer endnote app comes out for universal windows app store soon (would then work on windows phone and on windows rt)
Endnote for Modern / Metro (touch tablet friendly) x86 app for windows store would be great for Microsoft Surface Pro 3 would be great.
Need touch friendly app program for windows with Intel processor
