I installed Endnote X6 then followed the instructions for Sync. I used my EndNote Web account that I previously set up long ago from the University of California Library. However the upgrade is not happening. When I go to “Manage Attachments” under the Organize tab, it says “Your subscription does not allow you to attach files or figures.” Thinking that it could be related to the University subscription, I then went ahead and just created an entirely new Endnote Web account using a different email address. I then went in Preferences in EndNote X6, changed the account and synced again. The references all synced ok, but it is still not the upgraded account that can take downloaded pdfs. How do I get the advanced EndNote Web to work?
