Endnote X and Word 2010

Hello, I’m a new user of Endnote (just installed EndNote X.0.2 this afternoon) and I use Word 2010.

I don’t know why but I can’t find any endnote button in the word 2010 toolbar as it should.

Is it because EndNote X isn’t compatible with words 2010? If yes, is there any free updates/plugins I can install to fix that?

I use Windows 7 on my computer.

EndNote version X - CWYW is not compatible with MS Word 2010. For full compatibility you would need EndNote version X4 or X5. A discounted upgrade may be available through your university.
