Endnote X1 Warning Msg: The Specified Word library cannot be unloaded because it is in use.

When opening Word I receive the following error/warning msg from Endnote (regardless of whether Endnote is open or not at the time):

“The Specified Word library cannot be unloaded because it is in use.”

Any clues what this is about?

Running Word 2007, Endnote X1.0.1 on Windows Vista

Hello,

Word has most likely disabled the EndNote addin.  You would want to try the steps in this FAQ:
