Problem with opening EndNote in Microsoft Office Word 2003

Recently I have a message come up when I open any Document in Microsoft Office Word 2003. That states:

The specified Word Library cannot be unloaded because it is in use. This message carries the EndNote X1 symbol at the top. As I dont have alot of computer knowledge, it is a bit of a mystery to me. Also, in the Tools section of Microsoft Office Word, I can no longer access the EndNote program. I dont know how to fix this. If anyone has some ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

We have experienced the same problem with this error message in Word. In addition, the CWYW template for EN was not found in the EN template folder (although the ENWeb CWYW.dot was). Even when we saved that .dot file in EN, the settings don’t seem to hold.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
