Endnote X2 question - Citation in textbox in wrong order?

Hey.

When inserting a citation in a text box (word 2007) the citation is numbered and inserted as number 1 although there are many citations before that one.

It seems that Endnote somehow doesn’t recognize the citation order when using a text box(?) Anyone know how/if this can be fixed?

Here is the Endnote KB article relating to fixing the citation order when inserted in a text box: basically turn it into a frame instead.

Just for the record, I googled .

and the top answer was:  the right link!  But it helps to know it is there…
