EndNote X20.5: EndNote fails to insert the DOI field in the references/bibliography,

Even though the DOI field is included in the bibliography template, it does not appear in the list of references/bibliography.

What could be causing this issue?

I added the script .DOI to both the electronic journal and journal article code, as shown in the screenshot below. Nevertheless, the DOI fails to appear in the references.
