EndNote x4 problem with Word 2010, PC

In the middle of working on a paper and inserting a citation by Word 2010 crashed. In its crash it disable the ‘Cite while you Write’ Add In. When I go to the Add-in options in Word, it lists the EndNote cite while you write’ as a dissable add-in. When I then try to enable this add-in  Word informs me that it is not loaded.

I then go to look at the disable add-in and can see that Endnote add-in has been disabled. However when I go to load the EndNote add-in it appears not to be there.

I have rebooted my computer to see if this helps but no luck.

Any help anyone? I am 3 weeks off handing in a PhD and  I am lost without EndNote.
