Endnote X4 toolbar does not work in Word 2003

Hi all,

For some reason, I can’t manage to get the Endnote X4 toolbar to work in Word 2003. It is there, but when I click a button on it nothing happens. I checked the faq, and it suggested it could be due to conflicting add-ins.

I checked the add-ins and it shows the following items:

Endnote Cwyw.dot (checked)

Endnote Web Cwyw.dot (not checked)

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling endnote, but the problem persists. 

Any suggestions?
