Hi, I’m a newbie at this. Have minimal training in Endnote but am using it successfully in preparing papers in APA6th style. My problem is that I can’t get Endnote to bring in DOIs when I import references. I typically import from GoogleScholar but from other places as well. I’m led to believe that when using APA 6th, Endnote should automatically import the DOIs but mine doesn’t. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated please :robothappy:
Importing depends on the data in the database and how it is imported or how it is set up to export it into Endnote.
The APA style then dictates how the information that is in a record is “included” in the bibliography and in text citations. Out of the box APA 6th does include the DOI if the DOI is included in the record.
When I tested a Google Scholar export to Endnote - no DOI, But when I use PubMed, DOI and tons of other stuff.
