EndNote X7 and AVG antivirus software

AVG antivirus software appears to be affecting EndNote again or still (user has Windows 10). A message appears to the effect that EndNote has stopped working and Windows will notify you when it finds a solution. There may be a solution on the AVG user support website as to how to get around this. To be sure it is the antivirus software, disable it and test opening EndNote. If it works then…your option is to find out how AVG can allow EndNote permissions. Maybe someone else has a good solution.

I had the same problem; this was solved after I removed AVG from my PC. So there seems to be some compatibility issues between AVG and EndNote.
