I’m running X8.0.2, BLD 10858 on Windows 7.
Every time I try to email a reference, either by clicking the envelope icon from PDF view, or clicking References->E-mail Reference, EndNote crashes and restarts itself. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it continues to do this. Is anyone else having trouble with this?
Email References or Email PDF feature allows users to select a reference and launch a new email that includes the formatted citation with or without the attachments. EndNote application is designed to work with any MAPI compliant email client.
You must have an email client installed with a profile configured. The desktop email client needs to support extended MAPI protocol.
Additionally, the desktop email client needs to be a 32-bit application and not 64-bit.
So if you are using a 64 bit version of Outlook then you will not be able to use that feature. You would need to install a 32 bit version of Outlook or switch to Thunderbird which is a free email program that is 32 bit.

I forgot to mention that I am running Outlook 2013, 32-bit, so per your suggestion it should work. However, it doesn’t
