Existing citations in MS Word 365 aren't seen by endnote x7

Hey guys,

I have Endote x7 and ms word 365 on a mac. I want to use endnote on a word document with existing citations. I formated all citations and sources using the word citations manager. I read many posts saying I should use the “export to Endnote” function, but I cannot find it in Word 365. How can I get endnote to take over the citations management in that document. I want to use it to change the citation style in the document.

Have you updated your software to the latest version of Endnote? (Refer to the Endnote software updates page for info.) If you’re up-to-date and the Export to Endnote function is still missing suggest you contact tech support:
