is there any solution on how to move some data types (only) into a special group? I have two different types of data, I want to have them separated automatically: always when I enter data of type A, it should appear in Group “data-one”. When I enter data of any other type, it should be moved to Group “data-separate”.
Any ideas how to achieve this?

If you are using EndNote X2 you can perform a search of your library on the reference type. So you would search your library for the references of the one reference type. You would then create a smart group from that search. You could then conduct another search for all references not of that reference type and create another smart group.
Once you have the two smart groups new references will automatically be added to one of the two smart groups.
