I am using EndNote to screen abstracts, by scrolling through the abstracts in the “All References” group, and reading the abstract content in the Preview pane.
Is there a way of higlighting particular text - e.g. a drug name, so that each time I read the abstract of an article in the Preview pane, it is apparent that the drug is mentioned?

No. This is currently not possible in EndNote but is on our “To Do” list. You currently can see your search terms highlighted in EndNote Web. So, it should be easy enough to just Transfer the group of references you want to review to the Web for this particular task.
