How to move reference list in Word?

Hi all,

I’m currently trying to figure out how to move the full reference list generated by ‘cite while you write’ for windows.

It would be useful to add some extra paragraphs after the references (like acknowledgements, etc.), while still keeping it all together in one Word document.

I tried creating a section break, but this did not help.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Normally, you can just highlight the reference list and cut and past it into the new place in the manuscript. It will normally stay there afterward, but it may sometimes jump back to the end of the manuscript later (e.g. if you unformat and reformat the manuscript).

Best wishes

Actually, to cut and paste, you need to turn off autofomatting, or it will regenerate the bibliography before you can paste it, but you can drag and drop.
