How to remove MS word 2010 CWYW plugin

Hello.

I have uninstalled reference manager 12 but the MS Word 2010 plug-in is still appearing when I open Word. I have been through to check if there was a file in the application data still but none was there. Which other files do I need to manually delete to remove this plug-in?

Having noted this was an issue with RM11 too are there any notes on this in the literature provided by Thomson Reuters?

If the tools were not removed by uninstalling the software through the Control Panel, you should still be able to do so from the COM Add-ins dialog:

  1. In Word, click on the File menu and select Options.

  2. Click Add-ins on the left.

  3. At the bottom of the screen on the right, click the Go button next to Manage COM Add-ins.

  4. Uncheck Reference Manager Cite While You Write and click OK.

If this does not work, you may need to run Microsoft Word as an Administrator first. If you need further assistance, let us know which version of Windows you are running.
