How to view the citation correctly in the text instead of having the coding details

I used Endnote without any problems until today.

Today when I opened the word document I was wroking on, instead of having my normal text with the citation at the end of a sentence, I had the coding. So instead of (Fong, 2006) I add something like { ADD EN CITE <End note><cite> etc…}

How can I visualise the citation as it used to be?

Hi there,

This is a common problem. You’ve simply (unintentionally) turned your field codes on. Just hold down the Alt key and hit F9. That will turn the codes off again.
