Hyperlink format

I am using Endnote X2 with Word 2007. Suddenly yesterday after Endnote/Word crashed I am getting hyperlinks in the format { HYPERLINK “http:// …”} instead of the usual Word format Financial Times. Interestingly, when I copied one of the offending links to this message it came up in the proper format Financial Times. If I open earlier documents that have Cite While you Write citations in them, those cites  now show as a long list of gobbledegook that looks like HTML. This makes me think that my problem is something to do with Cwyw from EndNote.

I attach a Word file that shows the problem (at least on my system).

Any suggestions?

I am not sure it affects the hyperlink although it might in word 2007: see http://www.digwin.com/how-to-get-rid-of-the-hyperlink-display-n-word-2007#comments  and this thread:

Thanks, that worked. It also fixed the gibberish Word was showing for my in text citations from Endnote. The problem I have found with 2007 is that things are moved around and are not in places that are intuitive to an ex-Word 2000 user. I still don’t know how it changed itself but now I can fix when it does it again,

probably an inadvertant alt F9… it is the only think I can figure I did, when it happens!
