Ibid. does not show up

Hello,

I use Endnote X8 in Microsoft Word to edit my output style (Mac Air). However, “Ibid.” does not show up for repeated citations, either in the text or in the bibliography at the back. The bibliography style I am using is Chicago 16th Author-Date. Can anyone give me a hand to solve this problem?

suggest you try Chicago 16th Footnote but you also need to insert footnotes rather than intext citations.  I believe the tech support people have a macro to accomplish this.
