I downloaded the file, double-clicked it, but it asked how I wanted to open the file…EndNote?
I said yes, but it wouldn’t open. I downloaded a new copy of the file, same result.
So how do I dd it to my existing styles library?

what kind of file? I usually go into endnote – click on the Help option on the menu, and from there choose Endnote Output Styles, and find the style there, and open it, which opens in endnote and then I save it - with the date as a part of the name to avoid it duplicating a similar file. This should save it to a local user folder. Endnote is smart enough to look for styles in the original installation folder (in programs which is write protected) and in the user location which is defined in the preferences folders under “folder locations”. Mine is (windows machine) C:\Users\lmw\Documents\EndNote\Styles for example.
