Importing from Copied Text

When I go to an ACM reference, I get an option to get get an EndNote/Refer reference as shown below.

To add this to EndNote I must download the reference to a temp file and then import the file - too may steps for my liking.

It would be nice (and trivial) to add an i mport from copied text  command. I can simply copy the reference to the system wide buffer and invoke this command.
