Importing from PubMed 2010-1012

I have problems when importing references from Pubmed from year 2010 on. Not  only is the year not appearing, recently a corresponding “year” section gets removed from teh reference form, so that there is no way to put it in manually. What is causign a problem and how to correct for this bug? Thank you in advance. Anna

If you have EndNote X2 or an older version, this is probably EndNotes 2010 bug. See info and solutions here:

You need to update your version of Endnote X2 or earlier as described in this endnote FAQ. 

Also, there is a “Show unused fields” toggle - but in X2 and earlier I am not sure where it is located.  Upper right of the window or lower right?
