Hey,
I have an issue with my in-text citations. I’m using my university’s custom style but when I have an in text citation of:
Allen and Dennis (2009) state…
Endnote is automatically taking out the last bracket and turning it into a comma making it:
Allen and Dennis (2009, state…
I’m not able to edit it as it just changes back each time. Is there an easy way to fix this? Thanks in advance :)

Can you attach your output style, or tell us what it is? – I suspect the “page number” field is messing it up.

So, I have temporarily fixed the problem, it was the “cited pages” causing issues in the in-text citation. I’ve removed this part for now but it does mean it now won’t show cited pages at all, I’m not sure how often I’ll need that but thought I’d mention in case there’s an easy fix?
Thanks again :)

actually I think there is a space missing - so I fixed that too.
