Installing error 2894

Am trying to install X9 upgrade. I get an error message right after the first screen: Error 2894; 5. This aborts the install. I know this is a Windows 10 error. (That’s what EN support said, too.) But the question is whether anyone else has faced and conquered this problem.

Solution (from IT guy at my institution): Uninstall MS Office. Rummage through folders and delete all left-behind Office folders. Install EN. (Reinstall Office.)
