I use Endnote 2025 and I have problem with Journal name abbreviation.
I read many articles and watched many YouTube videos on how to fix journal name abbreviation.
I followed the solution of these articles
Generate full or abbreviated journal names
Problems with Journal name abbreviations
Now some journals appear in abbreviated form while others appeared in full name, I checked the spelling, manually entering the jouranl name and its abbreviation in term list of Endnote, but all failed, so how to fix this issue?
Dear Endnote engineers, please make a solution for this persistent issue in next update as you can.

Before you upload a table, you need to delete any already there and make sure you turn off the auto updates when you import new records.
Also, make sure the output style you are using, is set to use the journal abbreviation tables. (and the reason you delete all the old terms and turn off the auto update preferences, is because if a Journal is in the table twice, all bets are off that endnote will pick the right one).
