mass-copy fields? enter data in each individual record (ugghhh)

Hi,

I’ve created a custom field in endnote 5.  I want to copy a value in this field to a large number of records. Must I enter these data individually in every record (reference)? Goodness – there has to be an easier way.

I found a way to do this in the “change and move fields” menu.
