I added all the references in Word 2007 by myself until my friend recommended EndNote to me.
Then I tried to add a citation using EndNote in Word. Disaster!!!
All my old citations disappeared. Clicking undo does not help.
Does anyone know how to get my old citations back??
Did you save the document after the original citations disappeared? If not, then the original document should still be intact. If you saved the document or have MS Word 2007 set to autosave, you may be out of luck as it will over-write the original document.
Also, did you officially “convert” the Word references using that command in the EndNote Cite While You Write toolbar?
