Hie I have had my document returned from proof reading and editing .However when I tried to update my Endnote it not picking up .Is there a simple of synching my End Note wit this document . I know this might have been discussed somewhere . Any help?
what program did the person use to proof and edit. If not the same program you used, the fields will not be retained. – if you have the original document you sent, you can compare it to the returned document and then carefully accept the proofs, but reject the citation changes. Sometimes this is easier to do by first making a copy of the original and then converting the citations and bibliography to unformatted (NOT PLAIN) temporary citations, then doing the compare as there is less chance of corrupting the original.
