Online search results is not complete

I am using EndNote X2 for mac to online search references from psycINFO (OvidSP) Database, but the searching results is not complete, the reference number is much less than I searched in the psycINFO database.

I searched the articles published on Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance in 1978, but the results returns 0. actually, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance have published articles since 1975.

I have tried to update the connection file, but searching results remains the same.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

I suspect you are being too specific with the journal name and it is not listed in full in the data base.  Search for a title you know is there and see how the journal name is listed, or try just an abbreviated version of the name?

It seems not the full name. I’ve tried other journals like Psychology Science, what I got is the articles published in 2008, the rest were totally lost.
