Ordering in-text numbered refs according to order of appearance

Hi,

The first refs I entered look like this: [2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11] (it’s according to alpha order)

(instead of 1-7)

How do I fix that, so that it won’t be according to alpha order?

 Change* your output style’s bibliography “Sort Order” setting to: “Order of appearance”.

*Go to the Endnote toolbar select Edit >Output Styles >Edit (name of your output style). Locate the Bibliography section and click to select Sort Order then change the setting to “Order of appearance”. Exit the output style dialog box and the change will be saved to a new output style file with the word “Copy” added to the file name. Change your MS Word setting to use the new output style file. (Refer to attached image.)
