When I have an organization as an author, the last-name-first functionality in alphabetization causes problems,e.g., “United Nations” gets turned into “Nations, United.” I can prevent this by entering the organization name as “United Nations ,” but then comma shows up if I export the data. Is there a way to get around this?
A quick test by entering United Nations, in the Author field then exporting the result (via a shortened version of the Tab Delimited output style) did not display the comma in the .txt file - see attached image of test result. Suggest you recheck your output style and retest. Also note, when typing in the org name do not insert a blank space following the comma.
(You didn’t mention the version of EndNote you’re using but am assuming you’ve updated to the current patch for that version.)
