Problems with Chicago 15th A style footnotes when formatting paper Scrivener/Endnote/Word for Mac

When formatting my paper in Chicago 15th A or 16th A style, the footnotes are not showing up on Word; just the references at the end. I need to have both on my paper and I have not found a way to fix the problem. 

Here is my workflow: I write my work using temporary citations in Scrivener, then save my document as an .rtf document and format it with Endnote to finally open it with word. It all works well until I open my document with word–the footnotes are nowhere to be found; just the endnotes. Anyone else having this issue? any solutions?

To generate footnotes you need to insert the footnote with the word processor and then insert the citation in the footnote.  Is that what you are doing?
