ranges for consecutive citations: not [1-3] but [1]-[3]

Hi,

how to set citations numbering correctly when “use ranges for consecutive citations” is checked?

It shows for example [1-3] but I need [1]-[3] (IEEE style).

I am using EndNote X4, Style “IEEE”, and MS Word 2010.

Waiting for another to answer, hoping I was wrong, but I don’t think there is a way to achieve this in Endnote.

hmm, it is hard to believe that such a widly used citation notation should not fit ‘exactly’…

may be there is a kind of workaround which i could not found out yet?
