Reference placement in Endnote X5

I am writing my thesis from a template Word document. When I insert a citation, Endnote puts the references at the bottom of the document as usual but the reference place on the template is way above the bottom of the document (Intro> … > Conclusion > References > Appencdices > CV).

Is there a way to define the reference entry point?

I am using Word 2010, Endnote X5 on Windows 7.

You can’t define where it should go until you have started a bibliography.  Once it is created, you can select and move it anywhere you like, and it will stick in that position. (either by “cut” and “Paste” or by dragging and dropping.)
