Referencing online newspapers with Endnote

Hi there,

I’m new to Endnote and wondering about the best way to reference online newspaper articles with Endnote? Is it better to use the ‘newspaper article’ or ‘online media’ reference type, or is there a specific reference type for this kind of thing?

Any advice would be very appreciated!

It really depends on the publisher of where you are submitting, and some trial and error.  Most output styles won’t have a specific template for some of these ref types, so they will default to the generic template, which isn’t always “compatible”.
