Repetitive in-text citation

Just today, when updating citation and bibliography in word to apply a newly generated output style and when swiching between the two new output styles (then updating the word), all the in-text citation gets regenerated/multipled in word!?

Thanks for advice.

This usually means that you have a corruption in the fields in your document.  I suggest you follow the steps outlined in this Knowledgebase article:
