Retracted publication error for Endnote 20.6 on Mac for Word

Hello,

Trying to use EndNote 20.6 on a Mac with Microsoft Word. I am able to import my references into EndNote, however when I click the Insert Citation button I am unable to see my citations, instead I see a ‘Retracted Publication’ warning message.

I checked my references and none of them are part of any retracted publication list.

Using a Macbook Air with macOS Ventura + Microsoft Word v16.75

Hello Neil,

The Retracted publication message is not based on a particular reference it shows up the first time the Find & Insert My Reference window is launched and will only reappear when a specific reference has been identified as being retracted. If you perform a search for a reference then a list of results will appear and the Retracted publication will no longer be displayed.
