I often sort my library by various fields on the main display for subsequent visual scans (rather than doing a full find). My preferred default sorting, however, is FirstAuthor-Year-Journal-Cust1-RecNum. However, the “sort options” dialog always shows me the current configuration. To save clicks and brain power, I would love to be able to retrieve my old sort orders somehow, rather than recreating them de novo with each sort.

I agree that would be a good option, as I often sort one way, then go back to another sort option, but in the end I only have 2-3 different sort settings I always use. Having saved sort options would be helpful …
