How do I sort on multiple display fields in the library window. For example, I obtain records from WorldCat and among them are ten records for the same author, same title, but different publication years, different editions. I would like to sort by author, then within that subset, sort by edition or publication year. Solution?
It isn’t intuitive, but there is an option (in EndnoteX) in the references menu “sort reference” and it controls the sort order of the library display window.
